Behind every project are directors Kevin Spencer and Tyler Colyer — two people who genuinely love what they do. Their mix of technical expertise, hands-on experience and a shared obsession with getting the details right is what drives our approach. Friendly, practical and quietly perfectionist, they work closely together to make sure every glass extension is beautifully designed, accurately engineered and enjoyable for clients from start to finish.
Kevin Spencer — Director & Projects Manager
Kevin originally trained as a mechanical engineer working on structural design for military aircraft — an industry where accuracy is critical and every detail matters. It may seem a world away from designing glass extensions, but the same commitment to precision is what defines his work today. By combining advanced digital laser scanning with cutting-edge design software, Kevin ensures that even the most complex structural glass cubes are engineered with exceptional accuracy.
Kevin entered the glass extension industry in 2015 and quickly became the sole project manager for a number of exclusive contracts, overseeing each project from the earliest design stages through to completion. During this time he worked closely with Tyler, and the two developed a strong professional partnership built on trust, technical expertise and a shared passion for delivering outstanding results.
Today, Kevin carries out the majority of the laser surveys and produces most of our detailed design drawings. He is dedicated to giving clients a smooth and reassuring experience, keeping communication clear at every stage — especially as the glass extension is often the final and most highly anticipated part of a larger renovation, when stress levels are naturally at their highest.
Tyler Colyer — Director & Installations Manager
Tyler began his career 20 years ago as a structural sealant applicator before joining one of his company’s specialist structural glazing teams. Determined to master every technical aspect of the craft, he progressed rapidly — moving into a duo team responsible for setting out new projects on site and guiding other installation teams. His meticulous approach and hands-on expertise meant he was frequently called upon to assist with glazing to help meet tight deadlines.
Over the years, Tyler expanded his qualifications to include mini mobile crane operation, mobile elevated working platforms and a range of safety and access certifications. Around a decade ago, he established his own structural glazing company, successfully managing numerous projects from concept through to completion and earning a reputation for reliability, craftsmanship and exceptional client satisfaction.
It was during this period that Tyler met Kevin. Both shared the same drive for precision, clear communication and delivering high-quality work either on schedule or as close to the deadline as realistically possible. Recognising how well their skills complemented each other, they combined their expertise — creating a partnership built on integrity, technical excellence and a genuine commitment to producing the best possible glass extensions.
Together, Kevin and Tyler ensure every project is approached with efficiency, honesty and attention to detail, consistently delivering the outstanding results their clients expect.
